🔹 Elevate Your Urban Kiz — From Strong Foundations to Advanced Expression

Learning Outcome for Each Series:

(Completed Jan) Series Level 1: Concentrates on building a strong foundation by teaching fundamental movements, core concepts, and fostering an understanding of basic musicality.

(Completed Feb) Series Level 2: Expands upon the core techniques learned in Level 1, encouraging students to explore variations in tempo, lane changes, and broaden their overall dance vocabulary.

(Completed March) Series Level 3: Emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of both dance roles, incorporating accelerations, encouraging creative expression, introducing directional changes, and honing the ability to execute precise movements in alignment with musical timing.

(April) Series Level 4: Advances to more complex applications of musicality, explores lyricism, intricate footwork, visual leading/following, and fosters independent critical thinking through the application of beginner to intermediate concepts.

🎓 Who This Series Is ForSeries Level 4 is designed for dancers who have a solid grasp of the basics and are ready to take their skills to the next level.

Instructor approval is REQUIRED.

We recommend participants be familiar with: Urban Kiz Walking, Basic 1, Basic 2, Basic 3, Frame, Lead Saida, Follow Saida, Leg Lifts, Taps, Basic Musical Counting, T-Bone, Lanes/Lines, Shadow Position, Crosses

NOTE: You do not need to be “perfect” in these movements, but you should be familiar with them. Class will focus on sharpening, refining, and expanding upon these concepts rather than teaching them from scratch.

🔸 Placement & Evaluation Policy: To ensure a productive learning environment, a brief evaluation will take place during the first minutes of the first class. This helps ensure that all participants are placed appropriately for Level 4.

If the instructor determines that Level 4 is not the right fit at this time, participants will be fully reimbursed and provided with personalized feedback to support their progress.
